Agenda

  • 8:35-8:45a - Introductions of the team, the goal of the event, the agenda for the day, and specifics of the competition. During this time, someone will email participants the starting code. 

  • 8:45a-9:15a - Starting code instruction and general syntax of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 

  • 9:15-10:30a - Participants code 

  • 10:30-11a - First Discussion

  • 11a-12p - Participants continue coding

  • 12-1p - Lunch and keynote speaker Dr. Saleh 

  • 1-3p - Participants code 

  • 3-3:15p - last KickStart breakout group; participants will switch rooms, then go back to their original rooms at the end of the break 

  • 3:15-4p - Last 45 minutes of coding. Participants will need to submit their final project by 4p 

  • 4-4:15p - Judges will review and judge the submitted projects. A winner will be announced along with the runner-up. 

  • 4:15-4:30p - Winner and runner-up present their projects and receive prizes. The event is then officially over!
